Analysis Goals: To calculate the stress-strain
fields that develops during the various stages of stent deployment
into a blood vessel. To calculate the fatigue behavior and safety
factor of the stent under in vivo conditions.

To assess the structural behavior of the filter during insertion into the delivery catheter and under operational
conditions. Specifically, to monitor the strain-stress fields at all points in the structure and locate any strain
level that exceeds allowable material limits. To estimate the fatigue factor and life expectancy of the filter, by
calculating alternating strain levels resulting from the alternating pressure in the blood vessel.

Dynamic hip screws are widely used by surgeons as a treatment (internal fixation) for proximal femur fracture.
The DHS comprises a plate fixed to the lateral aspect of the proximal femur (usually by four screws),
incorporating a barrel to accommodate a sliding leg screw which inserts into the femoral head.
